DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last updated: June 2026
We respect artists' rights and respond to every valid claim.
Fulani Sounds ("the Service", operated by Boy Offi9 Inc) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners can report infringing content, and how artists or uploaders can respond if their content is removed.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on a copyright owner's behalf, and believe that content on Fulani Sounds infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice of infringement ("Takedown Notice") to our designated agent using the contact details in Section 6.
To be effective, your Takedown Notice must include, in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g. song title, artist name).
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including its URL on Fulani Sounds, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information — name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Incomplete notices may delay our ability to process your request. We recommend using the official U.S. Copyright Office DMCA notice template as a guide if you're unsure what to include.
2. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a complete and valid Takedown Notice, we will:
- Review the notice for completeness and validity.
- Remove or disable access to the identified content, typically within 5 business days.
- Notify the uploader (where contact information is available) that their content was removed, and why.
- Keep an internal record of the notice and the action taken, for accountability.
We reserve the right to remove content we believe in good faith may be infringing, even absent a formal notice, and to refuse reinstatement of content that has been the subject of a valid notice.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe content you uploaded was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. To be effective, it must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location on Fulani Sounds before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal court for your address (or, if outside the relevant jurisdiction, an appropriate alternative), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
We may forward a valid counter-notification to the original complaining party. If they do not notify us that they have filed a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content at our discretion.
4. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with our Terms & Conditions, we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
5. For Artists Uploading Their Own Work
If you're an artist (or authorized representative) submitting your own music to Fulani Sounds, by doing so you confirm that you own the rights to the content or have explicit permission from the rights holder. False claims of ownership may result in content removal and account suspension — see Section 4 of our Terms for our full takedown and content-removal process for artists.
6. Designated Agent & Contact
Takedown notices, counter-notifications, and other copyright-related correspondence should be directed to:
- Email: fulanisounds@gmail.com (subject line: "DMCA Takedown Notice")
- Web: Contact Form
Please note: this contact is for copyright/legal notices only. General support requests should go through our Contact page instead, so they reach the right team faster.
We built Fulani Sounds to celebrate and preserve artists' work — protecting their rights is part of that mission.
